About the library

The Law library, established 1936, is located in Tryggerska villan, the house of The Swedish Bar Association at Laboratoriegatan 4 in Stockholm.

Collections

The library collections are comprehensive in terms of Swedish law. Focusing on the Nordic countries, the Library also holds international and foreign law literature.
The collection of books at the Law library consists of about 50 000 volumes. The books are directly accessible in open shelves. About 80 current legal journals are also available.

Users

The library provides library and information services for everyone who is a graduate from a Swedish Faculty of Law.

Book search

The library catalogue contains bibliograhic information about books and periodicals published 1995 onwards. There is also older literature in the catalouge. However, the majority of this literature is listed in our card catalogues.
